Tactical Custom Boats are designed for the specific needs of the commercial, government, and military industries but are also ideal for the recreational market. Tactical boats are available in four different hull lengths (30’, 40’, 50’, and 60’) and six different configurations (Sportfish, Express Yacht, Crew Transport, Landing Craft, Search & Rescue, and Military). Propulsion/drive system options include outboard, outdrive, surface piercing drive and jet drive. Joystick control, stabilizing system, and shock mitigating seats are just a few features that ensure Tactical boats are ready for all challenges. Tactical is committed to building high performance, safe, luxurious and reliable boats that can operate safely in the very severe operating conditions found in the Northern latitudes of Canada, the USA and Europe. The Sportfish model has options for a tower configuration making it a competitive choice for sports fishers in the Southern waters of USA, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
Tactical’s signature aluminum hull design is the constant in all models. The all-welded aluminum hull uses premium marine alloy 5083-H321 which meets the performance criteria of most military specifications. The aluminum construction meets ISO Class B offshore design standards and is certified to operate within 200 miles offshore. The boat can withstand up to 40 knots of wind and wave heights up to 4 metres.
Tactical’s first build is the T40-Express Yacht Tactical One edition. All Tactical One editions will have the highest trim level and include all options. This boat is under construction in the Vancouver shipyard with sea trials scheduled for December 2017. Key features of this edition are twin Seven Marine 627 HP engines (1254 HP), three station joystick controls, Seakeeper 5 Gyro stabilizing system, motorized sunroof and cockpit awning, and superyacht quality finishing.
